Obituary For Bradley «Brad» Clay Fidler
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Bradley Clay Fidler, resident of Clairmont, AB, on Friday, December 16, 2022, in his home, at the age of 60 years.
Brad was born December 13, 1962, in Edmonton, AB, and was raised in Sylvan Lake, AB, along with his five siblings. This is also where he graduated High School.
In Brad’s early years, Red Deer, AB, was his home and where he started his love of playing baseball. In 1990, he moved to Grande Prairie, and played on 3 ball teams for a few years. Grande Prairie is where he tried his hand in the oilfield business. In 1995, Brad made a new friend along with a career change that would last until the end of his days. Brad worked 27 years for All-Ways Transfer and never missed work until recently when he was diagnosed with cancer. He was as dedicated to his job as he was to his wife and friendships. Brad was unique, and never will there be another person like him.
In the summertime, Brad could be found camping at the golf course with his friends and family, and in the winter, for awhile it was bowling and darts. You could bet he would be glued to the TV if hockey or football were on though.
Brad will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 20 years Theresa; his children Brandi and Mandy (Jaysen Ford); grandchildren: Clayton, Simon, Marcus, Nixen, Braxon, and Carter; brothers Blake, Bruce, and Darrel; sisters Cheryl and Debbie (Gord Ferguson).
Brad will also be dearly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, fur babies, and friends from far and wide whom he had met throughout his years, especially those from Morningview Park Golf Course, which was his second home for the summers.
Brad was predeceased by his parents Gerald and Viola Fidler of Red Deer, AB, and his brother in-law Bill Cumming of Nanaimo, BC.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 2:00pm, at Morningview Park Golf Course in smith, AB.
