Obituary
The death of Austin B. Sutton occurred peacefully at home. He was born March 7, 1945, in Hibernia, Queens Co., NB. He was the son of the late Harry and Helen (Farris) Sutton.
Austin worked in the Drywall and Construction industry for 55 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hanging out in his garage.
He is survived by his wife Susan (Curran) Sutton; daughters: Lorinda “Lori” (Carmen) Doherty and Angela (Perry) Roberts; son: Anthony (Janine) Sutton; grandchildren: Daniel, David, Adriana, and Tucker; as well as Susan’s children: Troy (Bianca) Worden, Jennifer (Ryan) Worden-Hooper; and Susan’s grandchildren: Cole, Gemma, Kiersten, and Gracen.
Besides his parents, Austin was pre-deceased by his wife Heather McCavour, and brothers Reginald, Ronald and Robert. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Our family would like to say thank you so very much to his family doctor Dr. Keripe, Dr. James Michael and the Oncology staff of SJRH, as well as Dr. Christian Mackin (Pain and Therapy) and his amazing team of Extra Mural nurses who came over daily to make it possible for Austin to remain at home.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424). In keeping with Austin’s wishes, there will be no visitation or Funeral Service, however we would like to acknowledge Jeff Pye, Robbie Palmer, Randy Barnes, Shawn Makepeace, Brent Makepeace, and Wayne Makepeace as Honourary Pallbearers.
