The family of Abe Sluser is saddened to announce his peaceful passing at the age of 95, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, November 26, 2022.
Beloved, best friend and adored husband of Brenda Garber Sluser for over 32 years. A relationship that marked an example of true love. Loving father, who showered his children with total commitment and unconditional love, of Laurie and Renee Sluser, Marlene and Brian Goldberg, Jeffrey and the late Rona Abramson, Mitch and Anne-Marie Garber, Donna and Morrie Liquornik. Husband of the late Bina Sluser.
Best and ever doting Grandpa of Zachary and Anya Sluser, Shane and Josh Liquornik, Dylan and Ryan Garber, Shawn and John Synnott , Adam and Elisha Goldberg, Benji Goldberg. Dear brother of the late Jeanie Dubman, the late Beatrice Solomon, and the late Claire Boxer.
Abe will be sadly missed by his many great-grand children, nieces and nephews. He will be missed by Maureen and Kenny Tajfel who enjoyed many special times together.
Heartfelt gratitude to Glyne, his special friend who cared for Abe with love, respect and friendship. A rare combination that made their relationship special and unique.

A successful businessman, he was also known for his volunteer work and passion for many organizations, in particular the Montreal Children’s Hospital, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Meals on Wheels.
Let’s celebrate Abe’s life and the love that he shared with so many of us. Abe may not be with us physically, but we will forever feel his arms around us. A true example of a life so fully and wonderfully lived.
