Passed peacefully at the age of 72 in Sarnia. He was the beloved husband of Veronica Ann (nee Burnie) and the extraordinarily proud father of Beverly Climie (Kirk), John (Dawn), and April Yorke. He passed out their business cards to anyone who would take them, including many who had no need or use for them. Scott was delighted to live long enough not only to amass a passel of grandchildren (Alyssa, Dakota, Piper, and Solomon), but also to share in the joy of having two great-granddaughters, Mila and Cora. He was understandably predeceased by his parents, Russell and Noreen, but sadly predeceased by his siblings, Nancy and Robert. Scott was also survived by his brothers-in-law Jim Shapland, David Burnie (Catherine), and Robin Burnie (Deb).Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Friday, October 8, 2021, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 2:30 p.m. Due to COVID restrictions, those who wish to attend the memorial service must each RSVP:
