William Charles Roberts “Bill”
of Guelph passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the Guelph General Hospital in his 82nd year.
Bill was born in Toronto, lived many years in Mississauga but spent the last few months in Guelph.
Father to his 4 children, grandpa and poppa to his 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Dear father to his son Wayne Roberts and daughter-in-law Janet Bernard. Grandpa to Meagan-Marie, Wayney Junior, Mariah, Chynna, Shane, Stephen and 25 great grandchildren.
Dear father to his son James (Jim) Roberts and daughter-in-law Nancy Roberts. Grandpa to Jeffrey, Brendon, Bruce, 4 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Dear father to his daughter Kimberly (Kim) Roberts. Grandpa to Joey and Kyle.
Dear father to his son William (Bill / Billy Joe) Roberts and daughter-in-law Helen Roberts. Grandpa to Nicholas, Tyler, Matthew, Ethan and Kayla.
Dear son to predeceased father and mother Thomas and Gladys Roberts of Toronto.
Predeceased by his sister Mildred (Millie), brother Donald (Don), brother James (Jim), brother Thomas (Bugsy) sister Beverly (Bev), and brother Hugh (Hughie).
Only living brother Albert Roberts.
Fondly remembered as Uncle Billy by his nieces and nephews.
To honour Williams wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
It’s been a long day without you, my friend. And we’ll tell you all about it when we see you again. We’ve come a long way from where we began.
