William Edward «Bill» Gagan

Teacher, musician, farmer – cattleman and apple man, former director of Renfrew Fair Board
Bill passed away at Hospice Renfrew, surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Eldest son of the late Irvan and Garnet (Wilson) Gagan, devoted husband of Faye (Stewart), proud father of Ann and Stewart (Leigh-Anne Turpeinen) and grandpa to his greatest pride and joys – Kayleigh and Maija. Bill is survived by his brother Don (Joanne Appleby) and his sisters and brothers in law Joan Hilliard, Neil Stewart, Lindsay and Ruth Stewart, Kathy and Tony DiGiovacchino, Laird and Nancy Stewart. Uncle Bill to two generations of Gagan and Stewart nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Bishop and the staff and volunteers of Hospice Renfrew for the care Bill received in his final weeks.
Bill’s final care and cremation has been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Renfrew. A private family service will be held according to Bill’s wishes.In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Renfrew would be appreciated by the family.
