William ‘Bill»s Obituary
William Peter Wald, long time resident of Whitelaw (AB), passed away in Fairview (AB) on March 21, 2021 at the age of 86 years.
Bill was born on October 26, 1934 at Last Lake (AB). He married Nettie Sydorko in 1960 and raised 4 children in the Whitelaw area. He farmed for most of his life, starting as a young man and worked as a truck driver for many years.
As he continued farming grain and raising cattle he enjoyed baseball, hunting, curling, family gatherings and working with his horses. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Bill is predeceased by his wife, Nettie; brothers, Gabe and Wendlin; sisters, Edith, Elsie, Lucy, Burnette and Agnes.
Left behind to mourn is his son, Wayne (Michelle) and their kids, Ryan, Tara (Mitch) Kehler, Kelsey (Josh) Kehler, Breagh; son, Randy (Rhonda) and their son, Colby; Candice (Trent) and their children, Logan, Megan, Tyron and Makayla; son, Darren (Gaylene) and their children, Trysten and Tyler; his sister, Beatrice as well as his great grandchildren, Connor, Jackson, Rhett, Bentley, Paisley and Shanelle.
A Private Family Service will be held on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 11:00 AM.
