Gone to meet Jesus on Sunday, August 22nd, 2021 at the age of 82. Beloved husband and best friend of Linda. Dear father of Valerie Scott (Gary) and Sara Kavanagh (Jason). Cherished grandfather of Chris, Judy, Rachel, Dani, Hannah, Ethan and Gabby. Predeceased by all his brothers and sisters. Wilf will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Thursday, August 26th, 2021 from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm. & 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, August 27th, 2021 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery, Elmira at 3:00 pm. Memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Wilf in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
