Obituary of Wayne Burton Dombroski
Burton “Wayne” Dombroski, 74 of Welsford passed away suddenly on November 12, 2021 in the Valley Regional Hospital. He was born in Montreal, Quebec and was the son of the late Stanley and Shirley (Warburton) Dombroski.
Wayne was a palliative care volunteer. He always wanted to make the lives of others better through caretaking and caregiving. In 2007, Wayne and Jon moved from British Columbia to Nova Scotia and they were quite happy to call this home.
Wayne will be lovingly remembered by his husband of 27 years, Jon Hemingway; and one remaining sibling, Greg Dombroski.
Cremation has taken place and a gathering will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the areas most needed to make life better for others, to carry on the good work of Wayne. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
