It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ursula Michel. Loving wife, Best friend of Walter Michel of 51 years. Caring mom to Claudia Case (Shawn) and Tim Michel (Victoria). Grandma to Emily, Matthew and Cameron (Sydnee). Great Grandma to Grayson Michel Case.
Ursula was born in Czechoslovakia, lived in Germany and immigrated to Canada, where she built and raised her family. The majority of her life was at their home in New Dundee, but just shy of a year living in The Village at University Gates. Ursula had a love of gardening, cooking and baking for her family. She also had a special love of babies, children and her «cats.» Ursula battled dementia many years and passed away peacefully at the age of 77. We will all miss her greatly. You are now at peace.
Ursula’s family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 3, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. Interment at Williamsburg Cemetery, Kitchener. Those wishing to attend please RSVP through the funeral home website.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Waterloo Wellington would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
