Obituary of Troy Douglas Beatty
BEATTY, Troy Douglas – With broken hearts, the family is sad to announce Troy Douglas Beatty passed away suddenly in Thailand on July 3, 2021 at the age of 67. Beloved father of Dandy Lynn Gibbings (Aaron), Trevor Beatty (Neesa Nahmabin) and Ty Beatty. Dear brother of David (Lorrie Williams), Marilyn Bailey (Dan) and Gilda Pang (Anthony Allard). Grandfather of Lennon and Miller Gibbings. Uncle of Blake & Brittney Bailey and Damien & Sonya Sandison. Also survived by the mother of his children Penny Beatty (nee Coyne). Predeceased by parents Joelyn (1997) & Doug (1999) and brother Trent (1993).
Troy graduated from SCITS and went on to work at Dow Chemical where he retired. He later moved to Thailand after working there as a consultant. He was a big fan of the Montreal Canadiens (GO HABS). Troy loved his Studebakers (car & truck) and would spend many hours with his friends and brother David working on the cars in high school. He also loved his music.
There will be no funeral arrangements at this time. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Sarnia & District Humane Society, 131 Exmouth St, Sarnia, ON N7T 7W8.
