Obituary For Tony James Erwin
It is with great sadness and heartbreak that we announce the loss of Tony, a great man and loving, respected family member.
He passed away unexpectedly in Grande Prairie at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital at the age of 55 years. As we struggle to come to terms with his sudden passing, we remember the hard working man who would give endlessly to others. From a young man operating heavy equipment to a pipeline supervisor and foreman spending his years mentoring others, he was well respected by so many.
His love for nature and the outdoors kept him going as he worked within it’s beauty to support his family. Not only at work, as we’ve spent many days on the trails as a family in his beloved Jeep exploring the rivers, mountains and wildlife. If only he had more time to spend with his hobbies of fishing, hunting and camping…
Tony is survived by his wife of almost 12 years Trudi, his children Tiahnna, Michelle, Jeff, Toni and Taylor, step-children Dezirae and Cyrena, his grandchildren Alice, Skylar and Jayden, his mom Beverley as well as his brothers Jerry and Joe.
He is pre-deceased by his father Orval.
A celebration of Tony’s Life will be held by invitation at Bear Creek Funeral Home on Sunday April 18th, 2021. For those unable to attend, a livestream of Tony’s celebration of life will be available beginning at 1pm.
