Todd’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Todd William Reid announce his sudden passing on Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021 at the age of 58.
He leaves to mourn his daughter Kristen Bennett (Jason), son Justin Maynard (Kristina), and son Jason Maynard. Grandchildren Abigail Bennett, Gracelyn Bennett, Lucas Maynard and Nena Maynard. His parents Augustus and Mary Reid. Siblings Betty (Dave), Sharon, Wendy (Lloyd), Dawn (Dave), Shawn (Carolann). Very special friend Patty Mcmullin. Brother-in-laws; Dave Noble, and Rudy Barrett. He also left a large number of nieces and nephews whom he loved with all his heart; Jason, Elena, Jade, Jayce, Christopher, Patrick, Parker, Tim, Hannah, Hunter, Jackson, Trevor, Chloe, Devon, Kaylyn, Jeffrey, Kayden, Jeremy, Dylan, Demetri, Brianna, Alicia, and Harper. In-laws; Paul Major, Jimmie Major (Leona), Cory (Brenda), Ashley Major (Michelle), Brenda Major (Roger), Della Toope, Mercedes Maynard (Harry), Fred Maynard (Helen), Sandra Maynard. He was predeceased by his wife Paulette and sister Shelley Reid, parents in law Stanley and Elizabeth Maynard and James and Loretta Major. Brothers in law Victor Maynard (Katherine), Gordon Maynard, Dwayne Major, Wade Brake, and Randy Toope
Todd had a passion for the outdoors; he started fishing at a young age and made it his career. He spent the offseason in the woods hunting and cutting wood. He loved spending time with his family and hosted most family events.
The family will be receiving family and friends at the Anglican Church in Norris Point on Sunday November 28th from the hours of 11 am-1 pm & 5 pm-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Monday, November 29th at 2 pm with Rev. Green officiating. Interment will follow at the family plot in the Anglican cemetery in Norris Point. Please keep the Covid-19 regulations in mind during the visitation; masks must be worn at all times, and proof of vaccination is required.
