Boudreau, Thomas Garnet « Garnie »
– 67, Little Dover, Guysborough
County. It is with
heavy hearts that we the family of Thomas Garnet Boudreau announce his
passing on Sunday, January 10, 2021 in Canso Seaside Manor, Canso with
his sisters by his side. Garnet was born on March 6, 1953 in
Canso, he was the son of the late Fred and Rosie (Bouchie)
Boudreau.
Garnet lived all his life in Little Dover and worked in the
fishing industry. Garnet lived a simple life, he loved to
hunt and go to the camp with his friends, he loved a good game of
cards and was well loved by his family and friends.
Garnet is survived by his daughter, Trudy (Jodi);
grandchildren, Connor and Dylan, Souris, PE; brother, Murdock, Truro;
sisters, Agatha « Gay », Canso, Norma (Chris), Loretta
(Eldon), Carol, all of Little Dover, Marilyn (Jim), Canso; sisters in
law, Marg, Little Dover, Margaret « Tutty », Canso.
Besides his parents Garnet was predeceased by his brothers, Jerome
« Jip », Frederick « Ted », Hughie, Laurier; sister,
Beatrice Haines; brothers in law, Albert Boudreau, Albert Snow, Gary
Snow and Melvin Dixon.
There will be no visitation or church service.
There will be a graveside service for family and friends in St. Agnes
Parish Cemetery, Little Dover on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 11 a.m.
with Father Jonathan Nnajifor officiating. Memorial
donations in memory of Garnet may be made to Seaside Manor,
Canso.
The family would like to express there thanks to the staff at
Seaside Manor, you were truly « Garnie’s » bunch of
guardian angels and an extra special thanks to each and everyone of
you. Thanks to Dr. Cathy, Dr. Milburn and Dr.
Dobek.
