It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of Teresa Annunziata (nee Gliubizzi) Martone, at the age of 79, peacefully, with her family by her side on June 18, 2021. Teresa was born on March 21,1942 in a little town, Baragiano, Italy. She was the sister of Guiseppina, Maria, Carmela, Anna, Antonio, her twin Vito, Rosa (deceased) and Franco. Teresa was also the beloved wife of Carmine Martone, the loving mother of Donato, his wife, Rhonda and Aldo, his wife, Gabriella and proud nonna to Melissa and Matthew.
Teresa will be remembered by her gentle spirit, her loving smile and kindness towards others. She loved her family immensely and always spoke with pride about her sons and her grandchildren. The house was filled with wonderful memories of her awesome lasagna and roasted red peppers. Her warm welcome to all who came over was heartwarming.
She is resting at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph. Family will receive friends and family on Wednesday June 23, 2021 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Church, 409 Paisley Road, Guelph on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Entombement will follow at Marymount Cemetery, 5400 Highway 6 South, Guelph.
Due to COVID restrictions, guests must RSVP their attendance for the funeral mass by accessing the funeral home website.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathies or donations can be made to Canadian Mental Health Association. Donation cards will be available at the funeral home at 519-821-5077or sent virtually to the funeral home.
