Sue passed away suddenly on April 28,2021 at the age of 73. Beloved wife of Frank for 38 years. Predeceased by her parents Ellen and Arthur Corbett, siblings Jim, Marilyn & Jo, great niece Nicole, and nephew Stephen. She will be greatly missed by generations of nieces and nephews, her supportive in-laws, and many close friends. Sue was the fortunate recipient of a lung transplant in 2014 that greatly extended her life (beadonor.ca). She would appreciate any memorial donations go to your favorite animal assistance charity. Thank-you to the multitude of nurses and doctors who took great care with Sue over many years. A private memorial tribute will be held at a future time.
Sue grew up in the east end of Hamilton. Along with having her immediate family, she was lucky enough to be ‘adopted’ by the Coffell family.
Frank & Sue met on a ski trip in January 1982 and married in July 1983. They shared many decades with family and friends at the family cottage in Long Point. Except for the last few years, Sue could often be found with a dog on her lap.
Before she retired, Sue made many good friends working various retail positions at Rona, Home Depot and Fortinos.
A special thank-you to her family doctor, Dr. Jessica Graham, for the exemplary care she provided.
