It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Shirley Evelyn Langton (Hansen) at home on April 12, 2021 in her 87th year.
Predeceased by her loving husband Clifford Langton of nearly 70 years, her brother George Hansen (Marj) and sister Anna (Gui). Nan is survived by her best friend and sister, Mary England (Frank) and by her brothers Bill (Karen) and Paul (Loraine) Hansen. Nan was a devoted mother to Pam Smith (Ken) and Gordon Langton. Nan was an incredible grandmother to Shannon Langton (Lisa), Shelly Casciani (Christine), Heather Wheat (Bill), Holley Dayman (Darren), Stuart Adams (Jen), Megan Smith (Marlon) and Cameron Smith. She was a doting and loving great-grandmother to Wilson, Cohen, Weston, Paisley, Karic, Kate, Brad, Ryan, Will, Austin, Maisy, Lexi and Samantha.
Nan was a beautiful human being and touched so many lives. She had a zest for life and a love for travel.
She will be remembered for her poise, humility, strength, guidance and phenomenal cooking. Her smile and wit will remain etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
We know she is now traveling somewhere with the love of her life, our Pap.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place for Nan and Pap at a later date due to COVID-19 restrictions. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Ladybird Animal Sanctuary (ladybirdanimalsanctuary.com).
