It is with heavy hearts the family mourns the passing of Shawn Lawrence Dickson. Shawn passed away suddenly at the age of 31 on July 4, 2021, in Sherwood Park, Alberta.
Shawn had a compassionate heart and a very kind soul who always put others before himself. Shawn was a fun loving goofy dad with a lot of love for his only child, Tiana. Shawn was a devoted father to Tiana and a loving partner to Charlene.
He was also an avid gamer, beating his PS4 games was a thrill for Shawn; he would stay up for days to conquer them. Shawn loved going on family adventures and making fond memories. He also loved the holidays, so much so that he dressed up in a quirky suit to match the occasion. He enjoyed shopping, going out for food and ice cream with his family and mom. Shawn will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.
Shawn is survived by his partner Charlene Yellowknee and 2 year old daughter Tiana; mother Joanne Dewind and stepfather Pete Dewind; father Brad Dickson and stepmother Jackie Dickson; brothers and family Devin Dickson, Corey Dickson and wife Rachelle and nieces Ava and Paisley; stepbrothers Joshua Dewind and Brandon Dewind; grandmother Muriel Brown and partner Bert Wever.
Shawn was predeceased by his grandparents Russell Brown, and Francis & Russell Dickson.
