Passed away, peacefully, at the Maple Manor Nursing Home, Tillsonburg with loving family by her side on Sunday, September 5th, 2021, Ruth Eleanor (Williamson) Rabb, in her 90th year. Member of St. Paul’s United Church and dedicated Life Member of the St. Paul’s U.C.W. serving as secretary of the U.C.W. for many years and active at the U.C.W. Bazaars. Passionate Bridge player, active volunteer for decades with “Meals on Wheels” and avid curler with the Tillsonburg Curling Club.
Beloved wife of 58 years of Donovan W. Rabb (June 22nd, 2013). Much loved mother and mother-in-law of David (Donna) Rabb, of Tillsonburg and their daughter Ashley; Brett (Line) Rabb, of Straffordville and their son Kelsey and daughter Caitlin. Proud and loving great-grandmother of: Mason, Jasper, and Hunter. Survived by her sister-in-law Alice Williamson, of Cambridge. Ruth is predeceased by her brother Russell.
In Celebrating Ruth’s Legacy and a Life well lived, a Private Family Graveside Service will be held at the Tillsonburg Cemetery Columbarium, by Rev. Karlene Brown-Palmer, of St. Paul’s United Church, and will take place at a later date. All attendees are required to wear a face covering and are asked to always maintain social distancing guidelines. All who knew Ruth are encouraged to offer their support and care by posting photos, sending flowers, by sharing special memories and hugs from home on Ruth’s online tribute page at www.verhoevefuneralhomes.com.
