Passed away peacefully after a brief stay at Palliative Care on Thursday, April 15, 2021, Elizabeth Rose Power of Duntara, age 77 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Patrick; and parents, Thomas and Elizabeth Legge.
Left with a lifetime of loving memories are Sons Donald (Kathy), Tom (Denise) and Daughter Melinda (Leo Harty). Grandchildren Angelina, Natosha, Noah, Brianna and Nathan.
Resting at Strathie’s Funeral Home in Bonavista. Visitation on Saturday, April 17 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 & on Sunday, April 18 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00. Mass of Christian Burial will take place from St. Peter’s and Paul’s Church, Kings Cove at 11am on Monday, April 19.
Special thank you to Lolly and the wonderful staff of North Pond Manner who were a big part of mom’s life in the past few years. Mom loved you all dearly and to each and everyone one of you, your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten. Thank you to Dr Laurie for her care. Thank you to the staff at the Miller Center Palliative care unit, who provided care and comfort in the last few hours of her life.
