It is with great sadness that the family announces her passing in Sudbury, on Monday, July 5, 2021 at the age of 89 years. Daughter to the late Ferdinand and late Elda (née Serre) Joanette. Wife to the late Ovide Julien Martin and late Claude Lavoie. Cherished mother to the late Denis Martin (Joan), Paul Martin (late Pamela), Roger Martin (Nancy), Michael Martin (Sharlene), Gerry Martin (Anne) and Kathrine Marshall (Brian). Beloved grandmother to 23 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Cécille, Juliette and Lucille. Predeceased by her siblings: Délima, Alma, Ida, Edouard, Delphis and Roger. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4691 R.R 15, Chelmsford, on Friday, July 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 10 at 11:00 a.m. at St-Joseph Church, Chelmsford. There is a limitation on how many people may attend both locations and everyone must wear a mask.
