Eby, Ronald Herbert:
Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital with his daughters by his side, on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at the age of 96. Ronald was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marcella (2018). Loving Father of Bev Bauman (Dave) and Karen Sutton (Wayne). Papa was loved by his grandchildren Curtis (Tami), Andrea, Heidi (Jamie), Chris (Sheila) and Becky (Geoff). Papa was proud of his great-grandchildren Tucker, Tessa, Abby, Emma, Jaeden, Evan, Carley, Cora, Kerrigan and Owen. Ronald leaves behind his sister Anne Fisher (Doug), and sisters-in-law Reta Carey and Betty Eby. He is also predeceased by his two brothers and two sisters. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family and friends.
Ronald’s family will receive relatives and friends from 3 – 4 p.m. with a Liturgy of Word to follow at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 30, 2021 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Those who wish to attend the visitation and service are asked to RSVP through the funeral home website or by calling the funeral home directly. Cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
