Obituary
It is with great sadness the family of Ronnie Dempster announce his passing which occurred at the Sus Health Care Center on Saturday January 30th, 2021. Born in Sus on May 28th, 1954 he was the son of the late Hanford and Mary (Richard) Dempster. Ronnie was an Arborist for the City of Saint John and retired in 1997 due to a work place accident. He loved to hunt, fish and spend time with family and friends.
Ronnie is survived by his sons Dale (Bonnie) of Rowley and Keith (Tammy Campbell) of Garnett Settlement; daughter Dawn Dempster (David Ferris) of Garnett Settlement and their mother Florence «Sister» Dempster; brothers Russell (Mary) of Bloomfield Ridge, Blair (Gloria) of Upham and Aubrey (Kathy); sisters Julie Long (Doug), Brenda Long (Bruce) all of Bloomfield Ridge and Carol Ann Dempster (Robert Hayes) of Sus; 4 grandchildren Melanie, Brittany, Jaden and Olivia; great-grandson Ryder; nieces, nephews and friends.
Along with his parents, Ronnie was predeceased by his son Scott Dempster.
The family would like to thank all the nurses over the last 23 years for the exceptional care and compassion given to Ronnie.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 from the hours of 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. The funeral service will be held in the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on May, 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
