Obituary for
Roman Andrey Wasarab
Beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, Roman Andrey Wasarab passed away on September 12, 2021 at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton.
Roman is survived by his mother, Ollie; sister, Darcia (Peter Rolland); brothers, Mark and Orest; nieces, Anastasia and Maryna (James Martyn) Rolland; great niece, Mila Martyn; and cousins, Tanya Limin (James) and Daniel Panamaroff (Adeline).
Roman was an accomplished musician and singer, loved sports, was an avid traveler, and loved spending time with his family and friends.
The family thanks the kindness and the efforts of Dr. Bacon, and all the doctors and nurses in units 52 and 53 at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton.
Roman’s love and his passion for life will be missed by everyone whose life he touched.
Prayer Services will be held on September 20, 2021 at 6 p.m. at Park Memorial, 9709 -111 Avenue, Edmonton. Due to COVID restrictions, attendance is limited. Should you be unable to attend in-person, you may view the livestream of the service by selecting Webcasting from the menu on this page.
A private inurnment service will take place on a future date at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
