Robb Ashley (July 31, 1959 – December 13, 2021) passed away at home at the age of 62. He was the son of the late Barbara Marie Ashley (nee Bassett) (2012) and Robert Earl Ashley (1983) of Belleville, Ontario. He was a graduate of the University of New Brunswick, a member of Engineers Nova Scotia and a retired member of the Association of Nova Scotia Land Surveyors. He is survived by his partner of 41 years, Colleen Farrell of West Porters Lake; daughters Daniele Doucet (Jacqui Moffatt) of Squamish, BC and Spring Farrell (Chris Martin) of Lower East Chezzetcook; son Samuel Ashley (Cameron Short) of East Chezzetcook; granddaughters Rayn and Pace Moffatt-Doucet, Squamish BC; sisters Wendy (Blair Fairweather), Trenton, Ontario and Luanne (John Reddick), Cherry Valley, Ontario; one niece, four nephews, and two grandnieces, all in Ontario. Special thanks to Dr. Lori Wood and Nurse Donna at the Nova Scotia Cancer Centre, the VON, and Pharmacist Kelly Slade for their kindness, care and attention shown to Robb. There will be no service by request. A Celebration of Life gathering will take place in 2022.
