Peacefully, on February 16, 2021 at 68 years of age. Reunited with his beloved wife Sue (2008). Loving father of Jimm and wife Tracey and Shelly and fiancé Brian Hansen and step-father of Teena Handsor, Tonya Handsor and partner Dan Shaw and Billy Handsor. Treasured Pipi of Deanna Purdy, Alicia Smith, Tommy-Lee Purdy, Courtney Handsor, Chelsie Lefaive, Maria Cainen, Jocelyn Lefaive, Micheal Cainen, Billy Handsor Jr. and Andrea Purdy. Devoted great-pipi of Allison, Jed, Sienna, Landon, Shala, Jazz, Mia, Micheal Jr., Malachi and two on the way. Loved son of the late Robert (1981) and Betty Purdy (1996). Dear brother of John Purdy-Hale and partner Shannon Poupard, Maryanne Brooker and her late husband Lyle (2008), the late Donna Purdy (1980) and her late husband Gord Purdy (2017), and the late Anne Wilson (2010). He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and by his best friend Myron Snively. Special thank you to his PSW caregiver and niece-in-law Melissa Purdy for her dedicated care and compassion.
