Obituary of Robert Caves McNeilly
McNeilly, Robert «Bob» (Past President and member of Br. #120 Royal Canadian Legion, Georgetown for the past 36 years)- Peacefully passed on July 17, 2021 with family by his side. Bob, in his 96th year, husband of Elizabeth for 70 years. Bob was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland and came to Canada with his family in 1952. Loving father of Dave (Pat), the late Gord (Barbara), Cheryl Donoghue, Kevin (the late Connie) and Heather (John) Burke. Proud Papa of Robin (Jarrod), Patrick, Nicole (Ryan), Taryn (Lewis), Natalie (Brandon), Megan (Steve), Michael (Lauren), Bobby (Sarah), Daryl (Dara), Robert, Erin (Dan). Great-Papa of 14 great grandchildren. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the phenomenal staff at the Bennett Centre for their exceptional and compassionate care. A private family service will be held in the chapel at Jones Funeral Home in Georgetown. Memorial contributions to the Bennett Healthcare Centre, Georgetown would be greatly appreciated.
