The day after celebrating his 80th birthday, Bob suddenly passed away with his wife, Gisela of 48 years, by his side. Bob was born in London, Ontario on July 19th, 1941. His family moved first to Winnipeg and then Calgary where he met his wife. Later they moved to Sarnia where he started up The Bicycle Shop in 1993. His shop was a great meeting place for cycling enthusiasts including current owner and friend Scott McPhee. Bob enjoyed windsurfing, cycling, playing cards and wine. Bob and Gisela had many trips around the world to many exotic destinations. Bob leaves behind his wife Gisela, his four sisters Barb Mainman (Brian), Ginny Watkin (Bill), Sherry Shot (Bruce) and Terry Robinson who all reside in British Columbia. He also has his in-laws Ingrid and Roger Letham of Sarnia, Marilyn and Joe Pfaefflin in Calgary and many nephew and nieces and his two cats.
