Bullerwell, Robert “Bob” Everett, 90 of Arcadia, passed away March 7,2021 in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Pleasant Lake, he was a son to the late Joseph and Viola (Purdy) Bullerwell. After leaving school Robert worked in lawn and garden maintenance. He later worked as a clerk/ meatcutter for several years and was the Assistant Superintendent of Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery for over 15 years. Robert served two terms as Chairman of the Board of the CNIB, Yarmouth Branch , President of the Arcadia Cemetery Company, and a member of Arcadia Baptist Church, held the position of deacon and was also a Sunday school teacher for many years, He was also inducted into the Yarmouth Town and County Sports Hall of Fame for accomplishments in Maritime and National Blind Sports. His family meant the absolute world to him. He is survived by his daughters, Sandra (Gary) Cunningham; Rebecca (Russell) Butler; sons, Steven (Sandy); Michael (Amy); James (Margaret); sister Sylvia Crowell (Bear Point,NS); 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Aside from his parents he was predeceased by his loving wife, Beulah. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A graveside Service will be held August 14, 2021 at 3 P.M. in Arcadia Cemetery with Rev. A.D. «Bill» Newell officiating. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the CNIB.
