Dearborn, Robert “Bob”
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Dearborn on July 15, 2021 at the age of 78 years.
He will be forever loved and remembered by his wife of 55 years, Phyllis; four children, John (Patrizia). David, Joanne (Lee), Michael (Kasandra); nine grandchildren, Matthew (Sydney), Andrew, Ryan, Kayla, Megan, Brooklyn, Aurora, Jolene, Sienna as well as one great-grandchild, Benjamin.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, Joyce and Gordon as well as his brother, Ken.
Bob is remembered fondly for his dedication to teaching mathematics at Queen Elizabeth High School. Post retirement, he enjoyed cruising the world with his wife and especially the celebration of his 50th wedding anniversary on a cruise to Alaska with his entire family. He enjoyed time spent at the cabin he built, and all his time spent with his grandchildren.
Thank you to all the staff involved in his care at the Cross Cancer Institute and the Royal Alexander Hospital, unit 6w.
A private family service will take place and internment to follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
