HEARNS, Robert Blake “Bob” – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Blake Hearns at the Stirling Manor on Thursday, July 15th, 2021 with family by his side. Bob Hearns, born in Frankford on February 10th, 1935 was in his 87th year. Son of the late Blake and Olive (nee Rose) Hearns. Beloved husband of 65 years to Joan Rose (Macaulay). Loved father of David Hearns (Lynn), Joanne Whyte (Boyd), Barb Phillips (Ken), Bonnie White (Tom) and Ron Hearns. Bob was pre-deceased by brothers Harry (late Eva), Bernard (late Jean), Vernon, Donald and sister Helen Curtis (late Ernie). Loving brother to Hazel Howard (late James), Barb Geen (Dave) and lovingly remembered by extended family members Dawn Hearns, Sheila Lawes (late Glen), Bob and Sheila Macaulay. Pre-deceased by Irene McLaren (survived by Earl). He will be sadly missed by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Bob was a retired farmer and former employee of Pitchers and Proctor & Gamble. He was a member of St. Paul’s United Church in Stirling. Friends are invited to attend a visitation at the Stirling Funeral Chapel, 87 James St., Stirling (613-395-2424) on Sunday, July 18th between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Masks mandatory and social distancing required as per public health regulations. Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul’s United Church, 104 Church St., Stirling on Monday, July 19th, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Stockdale Cemetery.
