Sadly on July 27, 2021, Rita Mary Bjorneskaret of St. Paul passed away after a long health struggle at the young age of 47 years. To mourn Rita’s passing, & missing her dearly are her loving & caring family & friends. Rita is survived by her loving older brother, Arne B.; uncles & aunts, Gunhild Nelson, Sonia (Nick) Onyschuk, Charlotte (Andre) Roberge & Yvonne Saeger; cousins, Arne Nelson, Vickie (Rob) Hickie, Sheila (Ken) Parks, Dwayne (Kelly) Onyschuk, Vivian (Leo) Dakin, Elaine (Colin) Bartee, Kathy Handford, Florient (Joanne) Doucet & their son, Cody Doucet, Lawrence (Gloria) Doucet, Laverne (Jim) Tymchuk, Al Doucet, Clifford Doucet, Leonard Doucet, Arthur Roberge, Cheryl Jean, Agnes (Armand) Caouette & Pauline (Real) VanBrabant; numerous loving & caring friends & extended family. She was predeceased by her parents, Alfred & Agnes Bjorneskaret; her grandparents; numerous uncles, aunts & cousins; special pet family, dog, Buddy & cat, Toby. Thank-you to all those who respectfully cared for Rita, her doctors, nurses & hospital staff, Dr. Steed, Dr. Oyebode, Dr. Ashaolu, Cross Cancer Clinic, Elk Point Health Centre & Long Term Care and Bonnyville Cancer Centre. Special thanks to all those who loved & cared for Rita as we keep the memories of our special Rita tucked away forever in your hearts. A Celebration of Rita’s Life will be held on Monday, August 16 at 7:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul with Pastor Kelly Sibley officiating. As per Rita’s wishes, cremation has taken place. If desired, donations may be made to AHS-Elk Point Health Centre, Bonnyville Health Foundation- Community Cancer Centre, MS Society of Canada or a charity of one’s choice c/o 5626-51 Street, St. Paul, Alberta T0A 3A1.
