Obituary of Richard Carl Gale
Peacefully with his cherished wife Catherine of 35 years by his side on Saturday May 8, 2021 at the age of 58. Loving Husband of Catherine Robinson. Loving Dad of Lacey Vanderzwaag (Mike), Jesse (Deanna), Haley Scott (Nathan), Delaney, Cody, Mallory, Jeremy, Henry, Sydney and three angels in heaven Zachary, Charlie and Lily. Proud Grandpa of Charlee, Joshua and Matthew Vanderzwaag, and Connor, Parker and Avaleigh Gale. Dear brother of Lorraine St. Amand (Wayne), Andy (Cindy), David (Kelly), John (Cindy), Brenda Rodger (Geoff), Heather Ferguson (Allan), Tammie Ruhnke (Blair), Carol Berryman (Harry). Rick will be fondly remembered by his brother in law Thomas Robinson (Susan) and sisters in law Joanne Hache (Robert) and Diane Pietzarka (late Ron).
Rick is predeceased by his parents Louis and Aileen Gale, his brother Ron Gale, sister in law Dorothy Gale, his nephew Dieter Gale and his father and mother in law Donald and Theresa Robinson.
Rick will be especially missed by his longtime friends Doug Stencill and Tom Dicker. He was greatly loved by his many uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
A Private Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Church, Douglas. Interment St. Michael’s Cemetery. Donations in Rick’s memory may be made to Hospice Renfrew or St. Michael’s Church. Online condolences/donations may be made at www.gouletfuneralhome.com
