Rhoda Mae Allison, Wife of the late Morris Allison, formerly of Whitney NB has gone to her heavenly home on January 31,2021.
Born in Sillikers to the late Edward and Sadie (Matthews) Mutch. She was a homemaker and member of Whitney Baptist Church
5 Children Wanda (Don) Raworth of Dartmouth, Cameron (Carola) Allison of Whitney, Starlene (Vincent) Silliker of Riverview, Stephen (Susan) Allison of Cassillis and Beth Allison, Miramichi
8 Grandchildren. Luticha (Josh) Taylor, Tammy Allison, Tyson (Julie) Silliker, Tyler (Carrie) Silliker, Kelli (Alex) Peet, Heather Raworth, Cole (Emily) Allison and Whitney Allison
10 Great Grandchildren, Ally, Clare, Luke, Janson, Geneva, Anna, Layken, Cameron, Raylan and Savannah
Survived by one sibling, Rosalie (Sterling) Holmes, a faithful visitor and caring sister.
Mom was a quiet and reserved lady. A loving mother, grandmother and sister.
Moms faith in God, her church- the Whitney Baptist Church and church fellowship sustained her throughout life
Mom took pride in housekeeping, enjoyed quilting; sewing, knitting and baking. Made the best bread, doughnuts and molasses cookies ever.
Predeceased by her parents, her husband, sisters Myla Holmes, Mina Mutch, Martha Hamilton and brothers Billy Mutch, Mervin Mutch and Cecil Mutch.
So thankful mom spent her last 4 months with her youngest daughter, Beth, at Riverbend Residence, Miramichi. The operators, Colin and Sara and their staff have gone above and beyond in the care they gave mom.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a memorial will be held at a later date. Internment will be in Whitney Baptist Cemetery
