Reinhold «Ron» Jacob Blatz
(January 9, 1934 – April 28, 2021)
Reinhold «Ron» Jacob Blatz of Camrose, AB, formerly of Kelsey, AB, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at the age of 87 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his children Marty of Camrose, Leanne of Edmonton, Susan of Sherwood Park, Chester (Marie) of Kelsey, and foster son Jack Cardinal of Calling Lake; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings Sister Hermana, Victoria Sturek, Anne Blatz, Joseph (Pauline), and Aloysia (Zig) Famulak.
Ron was predeceased by his wife Janet; son Jeffrey; and siblings Herman, Clara, Alec, Peter, Cathy, Rupert, Mary, and Bert.
A private family service will be held. Interment will take place in the Camrose Valleyview Cemetery. Anyone wishing to pay their respect may do so at the Camrose Valleyview Cemetery after 3:00 pm Wednesday, May 5, 2021.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Ron’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Camrose Kodiaks Sport Development.
