Reinders, Pieter
Pieter went to the Lord’s open arms on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 in his 86th year.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Styntje ‘Sylvia’ Reinders in 2007.
Pieter was the dear father of Henry and Shirley Reinders of Meaford, Richard Reinders of Guelph, Brenda and Larry Foster of Chatsworth and Frank and Candice Reinders of Pickering.
He was the much loved grandfather and great grandfather of Amy (Craig) and their children Harrison and Abigail, Mark (Nicole), Gianna, Jordan, Robert (Kathryn) and their children Julia and Ryan, Shaun and his daughter Quinn, Katharine (Andrew), Sarah, Rachel, Alex (Danielle), Nicholas, and Sebastian.
Pieter was predeceased by his brothers Willem and Harm, his sister Grietje, step-sister Elly, and is survived by his step-brother Daan (late Ginneke) Broekema of the Netherlands.
Due to the present restrictions in place, a private family service will be conducted followed by a service of committal and interment at Lakeview Cemetery in Meaford.
As your expression of sympathy, donations to the Meaford Hospital Foundation or Grey Bruce Regional Health Centre in Owen Sound would be appreciated and may be made through the Ferguson Funeral Home, 48 Boucher St. E., Meaford, ON N4L 1B9 to whom arrangements have been entrusted.
