Ralf Gerd Schumacher

SCHUMACHER, Ralf Gerd, age 78 of Halifax, passed away peacefully at home on September 5th, 2021. Born in Hamburg Germany on January 14th, 1943. He was the son of the late Engelbert and Gretchen Schumacher. Ralf immigrated to Canada on December 15th, 1965 through Peir 21 in Halifax. He worked in the Dental Industry for 41 years, retiring as the manager of Aurum Crest Dental Laboratory in Calgary Alberta. He is survived by Anne Schumacher (Hammond) his loving wife of 54 years; his son Michael Schumacher (Christine) and his daughter Christa Kuciapski (Andre); his grandchildren, Rachel
and Lauren Schumacher, Brandon and Sean Kuciapski; his sister Margit Skoracki (Rainer); Brother-in-law Kevin Hammond (Dorothy), Brother-in-law Bob Goguen, Sister-in-law Patricia Hammond-Dwyer, many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by; Brother-in-law David Hammond and Michael Dwyer; Sister-in-law Dianne Goguen.

Funeral service will be held at St. Benedict’s Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, September 11th, 2021at 9:00am. Internment to follow at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery in Prospect.
