Pratt, Wally
Wallace Henry Pratt, of Durham, passed away at his residence on Saturday, September 11th, 2021 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Edna (nee Weppler). Loving father of Barry Pratt of Durham. Cherished grandfather of Zachary Pratt and his wife Nadia Monast, Wes Pratt and Samantha Pratt, and great-grandfather of Byron Monast-Pratt. Wally will be fondly remembered by sister-in-law Inez Pratt, Laurel Pratt, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Bertha (nee Watson) Pratt, his sisters Geneva Hedley (the late Ron Rolston and the late Ken Hedley), Doris Leith (the late Harvey Leith), his brothers Mel Harrison (the late Agnes), Charles Pratt (the late Madeleine) and Newman Pratt. From a family legacy in Water Well Drilling, Wally built and operated Pratt’s Well Drilling into the late 1960s. Wally then created and ran Pratt Plumbing and Heating for some 30 years. He was ready to help customers in trouble with long hours and any day of the week. That successful company is still running today.

Friends may call at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Thursday, September 16th from 7 – 9 p.m.

Celebration of Life:
A private funeral service will be held.
Friends and extended family are welcome to view the service via livestream on Friday at 11 a.m. by visiting the home page of McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home website (mccullochwatsonfuneralhome.ca) or the McCulloch-Watson Facebook page (www.facebook.com/mccullochwatson/). The livestream will begin at service time and the video will remain posted for viewing afterwards.
