TACKNEY, Philip Lawrence “Larry” – Peacefully at home with his family by his side on Monday, September 20th, 2021 in his 70th year. Larry Tackney of Chapeau, beloved husband of Carol-Anne Tackney (nee Gagnon). Dearly loved father of Derek (Chantel) and Dwayne (Venessa). Proud Grampa of Kole (Isabella), Kelsey, Brandon, Cameron and Teagan. Predeceased by his parents Ellard and Eunice Tackney (nee Cotnam), and by brother Eldon. Sadly missed by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and many Gagnon nieces, nephews and cousins. Larry had set many goals since he became ill, the first of which was to come home from the hospital, and the last was to celebrate his sons birthday on September 20, 2021, accomplished with love of family. We wish to express our gratitude to Dr. Wootton and all the staff from the CLSC home care, your care and compassion will always be remembered. Respecting Larry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, Chapeau on Friday, September 24th, 2021 at 11 a.m. DUE TO THE CURRENT RESTRICTIONS REGARDING COVID – FACE MASKS/COVERINGS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THE MASS.
