Hettinga, Peter – God took, in his infinite wisdom, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, on Wednesday June 16th, 2021 at Sakura House in his 90th year. Cherished husband of Sylvia for nearly 64 years. Devoted father of the late Terrence Wayne Hettinga (1981), Lisa (Steve) Ross, and Leona Bruce. Caring grandfather of Ashley (Mike) Cousineau, Terry Mick, Aaron Ross, and Laura Ross. Proud great grandfather of Alex, Zackary and Mikaela. Dear brother of Art (Renny) Hettinga, Lola (John) Dewitt, Raymond (Margaret) Hettinga and Rita (Ron) Burns. Friends and Relatives are invited to join the family on Monday, June 21, from 12-2 PM at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, Woodstock. The funeral service will begin at 2:30 (Guests must RSVP in advance at the funeral home website).
