JONES, Margaret Isabel “Peggy” (neé MacIntyre)
Peacefully, at home, in her 78th year. Beloved wife of Christopher (“Christy”) for 53 years. Cherished mother of Bethany, Christopher (Jenn) and Aiden (Marissa). Adored grandmother of Liam and Kyleigh. Born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island and survived by sister Bethany Buchanan (Peter), and brothers William MacIntyre and Jon Paul MacIntyre (Barbara). Much loved aunt of Emma, Robyn, Kara and Ceilidh. Organist and choirmaster of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Hamilton, since 1970. First Canadian-born member of the Irish Canadian Club of Hamilton and founder of the Women of Ireland Choir. Alumni of Notre Dame Academy (Charlottetown), the University of Prince Edward Island, and Mohawk College’s Applied Music program.
Funeral mass to be held at St. Catherine Of Siena, Our Lady of Lourdes Site, 416 Mohawk Rd E, on Monday December 13 at 11 am. All wishing to attend must RSVP using the tab below or call the funeral home at 905-388-4141.
