Obituary of Paul Szakacsi
SZAKACSI, Paul (Founder of Rider Tool)
Passed away peacefully at Winbourne Park Long Term Care Centre, Ajax on Sunday, June 13, 2021 with his son Paul & his wife Shawna at his side. Loving husband of Eva. Devoted father of Nina, Paul Jr. (Shawna), Suzanne (Shawn) and Jason. Cherished Popeye of Carla, Jonathan, Ashley, Andrew, Amy, Gabriel, Gracie, Cali, Maverick and great grandfather of Jayce, Ethan and Hadley. Paul will be lovingly remembered by his family and numerous friends. Paul immigrated to Canada from Hungary in 1956 during the Revolution and was an active member of the Hungarian Culture Club. He loved to socialize and was always surrounded by family and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa on Saturday, June 19th from 9:00am – 10:00am. A Funeral Service will be held in the DeStefano Chapel at 10:00am. Due to current restrictions, you must register with Susie Wallace at 905-213-6140 to attend. A private family interment will be held at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or to Hearth Place.
