1947 ~ 2021
Moncton, NB – Paul Doucet, 73, passed away suddenly at the Moncton Hospital, on Monday, July 19, 2021.
Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late William and Irène Doucet (born Bastarache).
Paul will be sadly missed by his children: Paula Longphee (late Jeffrey) and Darrell Doucet both of Moncton; his grandchildren: Monica Walz (Michael), Jordan Longphee and Sabrina Doucet; his brothers: Bill Jr. (Marie-Paule), Alcide (Gisèle Aubut) and Pierre (Linda) all of Moncton; his sisters: Eva Melanson (Omer), Stella Lewis (Bill), Jeannine Poirier (Gérald), Nélida Deveau (Néri), Rose Doucet and Shirley Doucet (Serge Landry) all of Moncton; also by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides his parents, Paul was predeceased by his two brothers: Roger (Infant) and Edgar.
Paul was proud of his grandchildren and was anxious to see his first newborn great grandchild but never had the chance to. People that new him would say, he was a kind hearted, generous, caring and loving man. Paul liked to tease and joke with his family and friends. He loved to go fishing, hunting and had many talents along with being artistic, drawing freehand, he had a great passion with singing and playing guitar. We will miss him dearly!
As per request, there will be no visitation and no Funeral mass. A graveside service will be held at a later in Our Lady of Calvary in Dieppe, where he will rest in peace with his parents.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
