It is with great sadness that
the family announces the passing of a beautiful daughter, sister,
auntie and a great friend to many on July 28th 2021 at the Moncton
Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
Patti is survived by her
mother Gertrude LaForest, sisters Dawn-Marie McLeod (Mark), Diane
Evans, nephews Justin Comeau, Andrew Evans and great nephews Bailey
and Bentley. She was predeceased by her father Dollard LaForest in
2015.
Patti was employed with the Royal Bank of Canada for
over 25 years and held numerous titles until her
passing.
Patti lived her cancer journey with grace and
dignity, inspiring many with her positive attitude, twinkling eyes and
infectious smile.
She loved to travel to the Caribbean with friends and
family whenever the opportunity presented itself, loved music and
dancing. She loved to socialize with her closest friends, whether they
got together at someone’s house or met at a restaurant to
enjoy great food and conversation.
We thank the medical staff from the
Moncton Hospital oncology centre as well as the nurses and doctors
from the 3600 palliative care unit for their care and
compassion.
In keeping with Patti’s wishes there will
be no funeral. A celebration of life will be held at Fergusons Funeral
Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on August 7th 2021. The
sharing of memories will commence at 2:00 pm.
Cremation and funeral
arrangements are under the direction of Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657
Mountain Road, Moncton NB (858-1995).
Donations in Patti’s memory are
welcome to be made to The Canadian Cancer Society (www.cancer.ca) or
