Burley, «Pat» Patricia Lynn (Irwin) – Passed away at Hospice Peterborough with her family by her side after a short but courageous battle with cancer, on Friday, September 10, 2021. She had just celebrated her 69th Birthday.
Devoted wife of Bob (husband in training) for 49 years. Loving mother of Chad (Rachel), Meredith (Joel Harrison-Off). Dear grandmother of Emily, Laura, and Lillian Burley, Chloe and Clara Harrison-Off.
Sister of Jim Irwin (Virginia) and Aunt to Rebekah, Isaac, and Katie.
Sister-in-law of Marilyn Lang (Herb), Jane Gillespie (Alasdair) and Ann Wakelin (Larry). “Auntie Pat” to Bonnie (Paul), Debbie (Mike), Laurie (Garry), Heather (David), Elaine (John), Valerie (Jesse) and Brian (Sarah).
Pat will be dearly missed by many other relatives, friends, and neighbours.
Pat was a talented seamstress, enthusiastic knitter, passionate gardener, avid reader, and expert cat scratcher. She devoted her time to Bethel Church, UCW, 4H and many other volunteer projects that had a positive impact on her community. Pat enjoyed square dancing, morning walks with friends and x-country skiing around the farm. A private family service will be held.
