Obituary
With great sadness the family of Frances Patricia Geary “Pat” announce her calling home by her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, at 5:30 a.m. on December 26, 2021.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Lester Arthur Geary; an infant brother; her sister Eileen; nephews George and Lyle Hawkins; her niece Marjory Gill; and great-granddaughter Molly Lake.
She leaves behind her sister Luella; son Allen Geary (Eden); daughter Barbara Lake (John); grandchildren Pamela (Michael), Byron (Cassandra), Catherine (Todd), and Michelle; five great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at the Ponoka Funeral Home. The Interment Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Home Cemetery – ALL ARE WELCOME.
The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ponoka Funeral Home. The current restrictions limit attendance to 50 people. Should you wish to attend virtually, the service will be live-stream broadcast at service time and also recorded for later viewing. The recording will remain for 90 days. Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Ponoka First Baptist Church, Hope Missions, or the Canadian Bible Society.
