Pamela Lynn Weaver passed away peacefully at the Moncton City
Hospital on Friday, June 18, 2021.
Born in Fredericton, she was the daughter of Margaret
(Howells) and the late Lloyd Wilkins.
Pam grew up in the Fredericton area and graduated from
Teachers College in 1970. She started her career as a school
teacher in Silverwood, NB, teaching grade four at the Kingsclear
Consolidated School and then later transferred to the Barkers Point
School, teaching grade three. After several years of teaching, she
opted for a career change and studied to be a hairdresser. She opened
her own hairdressing shop in Beaverdam, NB and had a very successful
career for over 10 years. In 1991 she moved to Moncton with
her beloved husband Ron, where she entered into the insurance business
working for Central Insurance until her retirement.
Pam lost her husband Ron way too early in life, after which
she devoted her life to her grandchildren, who were all the belly
buttons of her world. Her little Yorkies, Lulu and Izzy,
kept her company when at the cottage and at home with her
family. Pam will be remembered for her great ability to
decorate and took great pride decorating her beautiful home in
Moncton, both inside and outside.
In addition to her mother, Margaret, Pam will be sadly missed
by her sons, Andy Weaver (Marcia) and Rick Weaver (Marise Beaulieu);
grandchildren, Gavin, Ryan and Alex Weaver, Jared Conrad and Miguel
Gionet; sisters, Sandra Fletcher (Colin), Sylvia Anderson (Rodger) and
Susan West (Gary); brother, Gary Wilkins (Brenda); sister-in-law,
Sandra Dunn Lyle and several nieces, nephews and extended family
members.
Pam will be sadly missed by her family and all that knew
her.
Besides her father, she was predeceased by her husband, Ron
Weaver; brother, Dick Dunn and mother and father-in-law, Jesse and
John Weaver.
A private family service will take place. Interment will be
in The Hermitage Cemetery, Fredericton.
