OLSON, Bryan Alfred
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Bryan Olson on Friday, December 24, 2021, at the age of 46. Beloved father of Keegan and Zoe. Loving son of Garnet (Ginger) Olson and Dianne Robinson. Dear partner of Jennifer Scudamore. Brother of Ben Olson and Zona (Les) Sveinson. Beloved nephew of June McLellan, Shirley Andreosso, Don Olson, John Zuefle, Zona (John) Dallard and also missed by numerous cousins and extended family members. Bryan was a man committed to his family and friends, dedicated to building community and living life to the fullest. He was the kind of friend that was there for you and always ready to lend a helping hand. He dedicated countless hours as a volunteer coach in the various hockey leagues in Oshawa, helping young people develop sportsmanship, discipline, hockey skills and a love of sport. Bryan loved music and shared this love with all, always making opportunities to sing together as he played the guitar. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558). Memorial donations may be made to MusiCounts (musicounts.ca/en/), an organization that promotes music education or Their Opportunity (www.theiropportunity.com/), an Oshawa based organization that helps support children to overcome barriers through sport. A memorial service will take place later in the spring. We are hoping to be outdoors so that all who want to celebrate Bryan’s life may attend.
