FINORO, Nicoletta – It is with great sadness that the Finoro family announces the passing of Nicoletta Finoro (nee Martelli). Nicoletta passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 9, 2021 surrounded by her family in the Eramosa Neighbourhood at the Village of Riverside Glen, Guelph at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Enrico Finoro (2013). Loving mother of Edward, Mario, the late Rick (2019), Rose and Joseph. Cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren, Edward Jr., Sonny, Meaghan, Carol, Danielle, Michelle, Heidi, Katrina and Natasha. She also leaves behind 13 great-grandchildren. Loving sister of three siblings in Italy, Nicola, Yolanda and Anna and predeceased by her brother Ernesto (2019). Survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.
A special thank you to the caregivers and friends at the Eramosa Neighbourhood and a big thank you to Dr. Ruddock, who made home visits for the last couple of years.
Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel. A private service will be held in the funeral home chapel. Entombment at Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. If so desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
