Obituary of Nancy Bethune
Nancy Bethune (nee Galbraith) passed peacefully at the Grey Bruce Health Services on Thursday, January 21st, 2021, at the age of 74 years. Beloved wife and best friend of Norm Bethune for 55 years. Loving mother of Michael Bethune (Ginette) of Owen Sound and Anne Colyer (Jeff) of Burlington. Proud grandmother of Liam, Callin, Owen and Morgan. Dear sister of Georgia Deneau (Lar), of Barrie and Gord Galbraith (Louise), of Owen Sound. Nancy will be sadly missed by the Bethune family and her many nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519) 376-7492 on Tuesday, January 26th, 2021 with Father Wojciech Kuzma officiating. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Owen Sound. Family and friends are welcome to view the service via livestream at 11:00 a.m. by selecting the ‘LIVE STREAMING’ menu option at the top right corner of the funeral home website (woodfuneralhome.ca).
